3D rendering of the long-span suspension bridge

Project Overview

This project involved the development of an integrated 3D structural model and topographic model for an 800 m main-span suspension bridge. The work connected bridge geometry, terrain context, visual representation, and structural analysis to support design communication and technical review.

The project also included structural response studies using SAP2000 under several modeling scenarios, including dead load, prestress loss, and cable failure cases.

My Role

  • Built the 3D bridge and terrain model for design visualization.
  • Generated plan, section, and detail views from the 3D model.
  • Performed SAP2000 vibration and structural response analyses.
  • Summarized analysis results and supported iterative model refinement.
  • Maintained consistent model layers, annotations, and geometric coordination.
